Professional Experience

During thirty-five years of successfully managing projects and grants and advocating public
policy for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, governments and non-profits, I have
developed skills to help organizations achieve their goals. My leadership skills include:

  • Managing teams of professionals to implement IT and non-IT projects

  • Articulating an organization’s mission to decision makers

  • Achieving consensus from diverse stakeholders to establish project charters and schedules

  • Writing research papers to support public policy positions

  • Synthesizing large quantities of data to help decision makers understand complex issues

For the last six years, my focus has been on health care reform and health information
technology (HIT) to support the exchange of clinical information to help providers improve
quality care for their patients.

Addison County Democratic Committee

I am privileged to chair the Addison County Democratic Committee. I am currently serving my fourth term which ends October 2013. Prior to serving as chair, I was a candidate for Vermont State Senate (2004).
